MissionTo provide all undergraduate students with an education in mathematics that will serve as part of a foundation for life-long learning and preparation for graduate study, K-12 teaching or employment. To provide expertise in mathematics, mathematics education, and statistics that enriches the level of mathematical discourse throughout the university and local community. Increase the level of mathematics attainment by local K-12 students by providing opportunities for local teachers to continue their education in mathematics and mathematics education. Establish an atmosphere of creative endeavor that support interdisciplinary collaborations, innovative projects, significant research, interesting courses and informal discussions that mutually benefit students, faculty and the community at large.
